Fast URL Redirect Service - Using Your Manager

Use a short and simple FAST URL to invisibly redirect visitors to your existing long and difficult to remember web address.

The first step, once you have registered your Fast URL Redirect service in your Member account, is to set up your various service options. All of that is done in the Fast URL Redirect service manager, in your Members Area. Login to your account with your Username and password and you will be shown the main Members Area menu. Click on the Service Manager link to begin.

Setting Up Your Free Service Options:

The Fast URL Redirect Service Manager is broken into several sections. Let's look at the various sections and go over what you can do in each section.

General Settings

In General Settings you can set up several different options. Start at the top of the General Settings page and go through each option. Enter the URL (web address) of the existing webpage you want your new Fast URL to send visitors to, enter a URL for your favicon, if you have one, and select the style of advertising you wish to display in your free service. (The Professional version of the service does not have or require this option.)

When you are finished and happy with your entries, click on the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.

Change Fast URL

Here you can change the name of your Fast URL Redirect service, if you need to. Keep in mind though, once you change to a new Fast URL, the old one is gone for good. If you decide you want your old Fast URL back, you will have to re-register the original and hope the name is still available.

Professional Options:

Upgrading to the Professional version of the Fast URL Redirect service removes all of our advertisers ads from your Fast URL Redirect service!
